Previously, Stewart aired similar episodes after the debate between Trump and President Joe Biden and recorded weeks of shows at the Republican National Convention and the Democratic National Convention.

Since returning to his roots on the late-night comedy commentary program earlier this year, Stewart has brought his signature mix of comedy, satire and sincerity to the 2024 election cycle, racking up more than 3 million viewers upon his return.
