The 16 full-time faculty in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry have interests spanning the entire field and we value high-quality teaching, scholarship and service. We are offering graduate (Ph.D., M.S.), accelerated B.S.-M.S., and several undergraduate chemistry and biochemistry programs, including an ACS-certified B.S. in chemistry. Admissions Counselor in South Orange
Those who work in this entry level role will be responsible for all front-line customer services including communication related to the Admissions process of Seton Hall University. The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for receiving and delivering all electronic, voice and in-person related information pertaining to the inquiry application and enrollment processes of the Office of Admissions. The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for assessing the customer service provided by the Office of Admissions and suggesting ways to enhance the services provided. Additionally, this position will be responsible for meeting with and speaking to students and families, specifically in terms of the application process, decision process, and financial aid process. The Admissions Counselor will make decisions on the applications of students when necessary and will be well-versed in the enrollment process to better assist prospective students in their application/financial aid review. Additionally, this position will be responsible for providing daily information sessions to campus visitors prior to taking a tour as well as conducting interviews of prospective students. They may also be responsible for providing tours. The Admissions Counselor will need to be customer service oriented with a strong desire to work with others. The Admissions Counselor should also be available to work some weekend and evening events throughout a recruitment cycle.

The Deputy Director monitors and supervises the daily operations of the department and ensures all policies and procedures are carried out in a manner consistent with the University Mission. Seton Hall University School of Law welcomes applications for a Clinical Teaching Fellowship with the Criminal Defense and Community Advocacy Clinic to begin during the 2025-26 academic year. The New Jersey State Bar Foundation (NJSBF) Clinical Teaching Fellowship is designed to launch the teaching careers of practitioners with at least 1-5 years of practice experience. After the first semester, the fellow will have the opportunity to co-teach with an experienced clinician and to participate in supervision rounds and discussions of clinical pedagogy with other clinical teaching fellows. The fellow also will be mentored in pursuit of scholarship interests and goals. The Seton Hall Law School Center for Social Justice seeks to hire a teaching fellow, starting on or about August 1, 2025, as described below. The fellow will be hired for 1 year, with the possibility of continuation for an additional 1 or 2 years.
